BIOGRAPHY

Born in Nice, France, in 1993,
I started my musical studies at the conservatory of Nice, playing cello from the age of 7, switching for electric bass at the at the age of 13 and then for jazz saxophone at the age of 16, for both of which I obtained my final DEM diplomas under the teaching of Jean-Marc Baccarini and Christian Pachiaudi, respectivly in june 2011 and 2013.

I started my musical carreer in the French Riviera's jazz scene at the age of 16,
sharing the stage with great musicians such as Pierre Marcus, Thomas Galliano, Robert Persi, Sebastien Chaumont, Rémi Vignolo, Thomas Delor, or  Jef Roques among many others, performing in venues such as Sunset-Sunside (Paris), La Note Bleue (Monaco), Nice Jazz Festival (Nice), Jazz à Juan (Juan les Pins), Salle Stéphane Grappelli (Nice) and the different jazz clubs of the Fench Riviera.
I moved to Amsterdam in 2013 to experience new musical horizons, discovering an international scene as well as starting superior studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, from where I gratuated from a double Bachelor degree in both Jazz Saxophone and Electric Bass in june 2017, and from a Master degree in Jazz Saxophone in 2019 under the teaching of amazing musicians and teachers such as Ferdinand Povel, Simon Rigter, Ben van Gelder, Jasper Blom and Dick Oatts.

During the time I spent living in Amsterdam, I got the opportunity to integrate the Dutch jazz scene, performing in venues such as the Bimhuis, the North Sea Jazz Festival, Doek Festival, JazzFest Amsterdam, Red Light Jazz Festival, MeerJazz Festival, Storytelling Festival, Zaal 100, Studio K or De Kom.
In March 2019, I obtained the "Best Soloist Price" from the jazz competition "Keep An Eye International Jazz Award", among bands from New York, Basel, Boston, Cardiff, and Amsterdam.

Being part of this school gave me also opportunities of meeting the highest level musicians in master classes, such as Mark Turner, Joshua Redman, Barry Harris, Aaron Parks or Jeff Tain Watts, and the chance of participating to Big Band projects featuring some of them, as Alex Sipiagin, Rick Margitza, John Clayton, Bob Mintzer or Dennis Mackrel.
Above anything else, it allowed me to discover and meet the great Jimmy Halperin (one of the heaviest "Tristano followers", former student of his and one of the greatest musicians I got to meet) and to start a collaboration with him, writing a book on Lennie Tristano's musical conceptions and teachings.
Being established in the Netherlands as well as keeping evolving within the French scene gave me the opportunity to meet musicians from all over the world with whom I got involved in different projects (such as the "Maté Lachegiy Quartet", the "Uldis Vitols Sextet", "Yfillios Project", "Little Oliphant" or subbing occasionally in the "Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw"), as well as the chance to play tours in multiple foreign countries (in addition to France and the Netherlands) such as Hungary, Italy, Greece, Belgium, Spain or South Korea.
I started the Adrien Losco Quartet in 2014, featuring Pierre Balda on double bass, Floris van Elderen on drums and Youngwoo Lee on piano, with whom I've been recording my first album as a leader, "Réflexions", released on the Parisian label Jazz Family in September 2019, available on all platforms following the links on the top right corner of this website, or on the following link :

Besides my performing carreer, I dedicate myself to teaching. I conduct courses in different forms (masterclasses, private lessons, video teaching) since 2012, and have been part of the Haarlemse Saxofoonschool, the Amsterdam MZO and Major 7 Music Teachers teaching teams from 2019 to 2020. I also got the opportunity to sub several times for Jasper Blom at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (group lessons on the form of “Clinics”) and for Jean-Marc Baccarini at the Conservatory of Nice in 2019 (private saxophone lessons), gave masterclasses (on the form of  workshops) in Thessaloniki (Greece) in 2017 et 2018, have been hired as a monthly lecturer (on the form of masterclasses) at the Conservatory of Montauban (France) for the year 2020/2021 and invited to give a concert + masterclass at the Conservatory of Nice in March 2021.
I am living in the region of Nantes (France) since 2021, teaching in both the conservatory of Montaigu (Vendée) and the music school of La Chapelle-sur-Erdre.
From 2022 on I am giving regular masterclasses at the conservatory of Nice.
